Meet Dave

Meet Dave right here! Dave Card brings a lifelong passion for health and wellness to Dave’s Health & Nutrition. His unique balance of education, intuition, study, and experience has drawn over 10,000 one-to-one clients in his working life – over 3,000 last year alone.

Dave holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Utah. He has been involved in the health and nutrition industry since 1980. He graduated as a Certificated Homeopath (C.H.) from the Hahnemann Academy of North America. Then he finished his Master Herbalist (M.H.) from the School of Natural Healing in Springville, Utah. His study has brought him to create unique herbals called Dave’s Herbal Formulas for digestion, circulation, male and female hormones, and more.

He is a frequent guest speaker on herbs, homeopathy, and nutrition at nearby nursing colleges, massage and beauty colleges as well. When he’s not teaching or studying wellness, Dave spends time with his wife, Teresa, two daughters and their families. He enjoys rock hunting and being in nature, with friends and family, in Utah and surrounding states.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

My favorite part is being a wellness adviser and help people blossom in their health and well-being. I also enjoy customers reporting that our employees have changed their lives.

What made you go into business for yourself?

I had a couple of people offer to go into business with me and a friend and my wife said “do it yourself.” My inspiration was to provide superior customer service and education for our customers and employees.

What does owning Dave’s Health & Nutrition mean to you?

I feel a responsibility to the community, and our employees as well, to provide a source for health and well-being not available anywhere else.

What was the inspiration for your first herbal formula?

My first formula was the Energy Formula, a project for my master herbalist coursework. My inspiration was to create an energizing formula that wouldn’t deplete the adrenals.
